Mustangs are believed to be descendants of horses left behind from the Spanish who explored North America in the 1500's.
Today, mustangs still exist in the western United States. This mustang was born in 1998 in the wild and was captured near Eureka, Nevada. She was purchased at a local mustang auction in March 2001 by Jerry & Linda Schmidt of Haven. Her name is 'Margarita'.
Undoubtedly, she is one of the most beautiful mustangs you'll ever see, and a special thanks to Jerry & Linda for sharing her with the rest of us.
